Dr Alasdair Unwin (Partner)

MB.BS, BSc MSc, MRCGP, DTM&H, Qualified Royal Free Hospital School of Medicine, London 1986 (GP 1990)

Completed GP training in West Cumbria, tropical medicine training in Liverpool and infectious disease control at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. He has worked in rural primary health care in Nigeria, on national malaria control programmes in East Africa, on running rural health programmes worldwide for a global children’s charity and in academic general practice and telemedicine research in London. He returned to family practice in England in 2007 and joined the practice in Elstead in 2010.

Dr Sarah Hargrave (Salaried GP)

MB.BS BSc, nMRCGP, FSRH. Qualified Imperial College School of Medicine 2007 (GP 2015)

Dr Hargrave graduated from Imperial college Medical school in 2007, with MBBS and a BSc in psychology and Psychiatry. Since that time she has worked in Royal surrey county hospital as a junior and spent 18 months training across specialties in Sydney, Australia. She returned to specialize in general practice in the Southampton and Winchester area. Alongside her training she has also completed a diploma in family planning.

Married and with two small children, she lives in Farnham. Her special interests include ENT, Palliative medicine, Family planning but really just enjoys all areas of general practice.

Dr Sarah Shearn


Raised in Sussex I went to Leeds medical school 2003 and lived up there 8 years. I then came to Guildford for my GP training. Moving to Springfield surgery in the summer of 2017. I have since got married. My main areas of interests are family planning and diabetes. In my spare time my main interests are badminton and horse riding.
